Mercy Keepers offers food and clothing to those in need. Although there is no income restriction to our Clothing Bank, our Food Pantry operates under the TEFAP guidelines issued by the state. Your household must meet the income restriction or participate in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (fka Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Medicaid in order to receive food services.
Mercy Keepers also has a Clothing Bank that operates every Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
We have many contributors who donate clothing of all sizes on a weekly basis. We examine the quality of all clothing to ensure all garments are either in excellent to fair condition. The Clothing Bank inventory consists of church and casual attire, new to slightly used.
Mercy Food Pantry operates in accordance with TEFAP guidelines. We provide food to qualifying individuals on every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
Hope Villages of America and St. Petersburg Free Clinic have been our major food supplies within the last year. Monthly food distributions included meat, fresh produce, breads, and perishable/non perishable items. Food distribution amounts are based on the size of the household.
Through generous donations and faithful commitments we have been able to provide the above assistance. Many thanks to all current supporters!!
